The Line 6 Relay G30 Wireless Guitar System is a digital wireless systems for guitars and basses operating in the 2.4Ghz frequency range with a wide dynamic range of 118 dB and a wide frequency response of 10Hz - 20kHz. The Relay G30 will operate at line-of-sight distances of up to 100 feet.

The Line 6 Relay G30 Wireless Guitar System avoids many kinds of signal interference by broadcasting digitally over the 2.4GHz frequency band and features an exclusive signal protection technology for additional confidence that your guitar's signal will arrive reliably at the receiver. Most wireless systems broadcast over congested UHF frequncies, and their signals may be forced to compete with interference generated by other transmitters as far away as 160 kilometers.

Line 6 Relay G30 digital wireless guitar and bass sounds like a cable, and sounds like your cable. Relay G30 features a 3-way switch on the receiver that switches between no cable emulation and emulations of a 15 or 30 foot guitar cable. The two EQ settings match the frequency responses of typical guitar cables which roll off high frequencies as the cable length increases. The Line 6 Relay G30 also emulates the latency of different length guitar cables, adding a tiny delay to the longer cable length emulation. The extended low end frequency response down to 10Hz makes the Line 6 Relay G30 digital wireless system perfect for bass guitars.

The low-profile Line 6 Relay G30 digital wireless guitar system is simple to set up and use. The lightweight beltpack transmitter clips onto your belt, and the rugged receiver can sit on top of your guitar amp or be added to your pedal board. The Line 6 Relay G30 receiver can be powered by a Boss power supply. The Relay G30 receiver features bright and easy-to-read LEDs that give a read-out for power, status and battery life. Standard 1/4-inch inputs and outputs mean the Line 6 Relay G30 is easy to set up. The Line 6 Relay G30 digital wireless guitar and bass system comes complete with transmitter, receiver and all necessary accessories including cable, power supply and batteries.

A digital wireless system is not susceptible to interference in the traditional analogue wireless sense. A Relay G30 digital receiver will only pass digital data that originated from a Relay G30 transmitter set to the same operating channel. Radio Frequency interference for a Relay G30 wireless system will only become noticeable then a system's range has been adversely affected. In most cases, the Line 6 Relay G40 digital wireless system will still operate reliably with a reduced performance range even when RF interference is present on your channel.

Digital wireless systems are superior to analogue systems in several ways: digital systems have no compander or squelch control as none is needed, an extremely quiet signal to noise ratio, and digital transmission systems have CD quality frequency response from 10Hz-20kHz.
