The Line 6 LowDown LD15 delivers a full range of factory preset dialed-in bass tones from CLEAN, R&B, ROCK, GRIND bass amp models. Change the CLEAN model to the hidden BRIT model and put the Line 6 LowDown LD15 bass combo into Rock Mode. Modelled on a '68 Marshall Super Bass for the overdriven bass sound of the '60's British rock bands like Cream and The Who as well as '70's giants Yes and Rush. Line 6 Smart Control FX bass effects provide tonal options from subtle to overpowering with COMPRESSOR, FILTER, CHORUS, AND OCTAVER knobs, as well as 4-way broad-sweeping EQ from Bass, Lo-Mod, Hi-Mid, and Treble controls. A DRIVE knob adds the character of an overdriven output stage. Pressing and holding the current model button for 2-seconds stores a snapshot of all current knob settings to one of 4 user programmable user memories.
Connect a CD or MP3 player, drum machine or other device to the 1/8-inch CD/MP3 input, and you'll hear it from the Line 6 LowDown LD15 combo's speaker or headphone output. Connect stereo headphones to listen to your bass and CD/MP3 and jam along for working on your favorite licks. The Headphone output also provides a processed signal for direct recording. Plugging in headphones disables your speaker output. Very handy for late night jamming along!

R&B: An emulation of a 1968 B-15 Flip Top for late 60s and early 70s fat, clean bass as heard on most Motown recordings featuring James Jamerson.
ROCK: A 74 Ampeg SVT, the workhorse of rock recordings and arena sound with all the tone of the 300-pound 8x10" monster stuffed into a 1x10".
GRIND: Based on a distorted SansAmp PSA-1 into a SVT with a direct clean bass signal mixed in, this model is for modern rock lovers with an angry, clear and punchy aggression. Think Alice in Chains and Mudvayne and Rage Against The Machine.
