VOX DA5 Portable Guitar Amp

 The portable VOX DA5 Digital Amp can be powered by 6 C batteries or the included mains adapter, yet contains a collection of amplifier sound styles and built-in effects and 24-bit, 44.1 kHz signal processing. The DA5 features 11 guitar amplifier tones from clean to high gain, 11 single and combination digital effects including auto-wah, chorus + delay, chorus + reverb, compressor, compressor + chorus, compressor + phaser, delay, flanger + reverb, reverb, rotary + reverb, and tremolo + reverb, noise reduction, and a Tap button to set the delay time or modulation speed. The parameters of every effect can be adjusted.

The VOX DA5 makes the perfect practice combo. Plug a CD or MP3 line level signal into the AUX In, a dynamic mic into the MIC IN and rehearse. All DA5 inputs can be used simultaneously. The Headphone/Line output mutes the 6.5" 8 ohm speaker for headphone practicing or for direct connection into a mixer or recorder. Connect the line/headphone output jack to your mixer, multi-track recorder or headphones. Because the character of the cabinet is included in this signal, the sound will have a sense of "air" and depth even when you're listening through headphones or recording direct.

Unique to the VOX DA5 is a power select switch of 5 Watts, 1.5 Watts, or 0.5 Watt to allow the guitarist to open the volume to drive the DA5 for max tone while keeping the sound pressure level reasonable. The DA5 will last for up to 30 hours on batteries, depending on which power output you choose. To increase its portability for buskers, the DA5 comes with a should strap secured to two lugs on either side of the cabinet
